At College Park, we believe that the Bible is God's message to us.

 

We believe that it contains no errors. (Luke 21:33)

 

We believe that there is one true God, and that He is triune in nature.

 

GOD the Father has always existed, and always will. He created all things. (Genesis 1:1)

 

GOD the Son, known as JESUS, is the eternal Son of God. Though he has always existed  (John 1:1), He took on human form in which He was born, lived, died, & was resurrected on the third day to pay for the sins of every man, woman, and child. (1Corinthians 15:3-4) Being fully man and yet fully God, Jesus lived a perfect life.

The HOLY SPIRIT completes the Trinity and is the Spirit of God, and therefore fully divine. He is sent by God to comfort us, teach us, and perform many other vital functions, including the illumination of truth. (1 Corinthians 2:10)

 

Our Mission at College Park is:

To provide a caring and compassionate environment

in which the will of God guides and directs in the use of each individual’s gifts,

as we become the body of Christ for our community,

offering God’s free gift of salvation to all people.

 

 

Perhaps the Apostle's Creed says it best:

 

 

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic [universal] church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
